As new tools emerge, I find ways to bring them into my workflow: building coded prototypes for usability testing, creating Claude skills that drive productivity across the team, and working directly in the codebase. Each project started as a real problem worth solving, and AI was how I chose to solve it. I keep this project up to date with what I’m building and learning about.

Coding a prototype for usability testing
I built a fully functional prototype and ran it through unmoderated user research. Because it behaved exactly like the live product, participants could interact naturally rather than imagine themselves into a limited flow. Built using Claude Code and Figma MCP, this approach yielded higher-fidelity feedback that directly shaped the redesign sprint and set a new bar for how our team runs UXR on complex flows.
Scaling the Design System With AI
I trained Claude Code on the MasterClass design system and built a MasterClass Bundling Landing Page. I packaged it as a shareable skill so that anyone across the product and design org can generate designs without starting from scratch. This shareable skill reduced the time to get started with AI-assisted design and made MasterClass design output accessible to the whole team.
Making Presentations 3x Faster
I trained Claude on the MasterClass presentation system and my own presentation style which resulted in a 67% reduction in time put into building presentations. I shared this skill with the entire company which unlocked a new level of productivity for everyone who makes presentations at MasterClass.
Building an internal tool for the company
Launchpad is an internal idea-tracking tool that I built in Cursor. It aims to make sure that our great ideas don't get lost in fast-moving sprints. Launchpad filters by surface area, effort, and design status. This project was my first deep exploration of AI-assisted visual development. It's now being used across the entire product team to keep track of our test ideas!
What’s Next?
I'm staying close to what's emerging: new tools, new workflows, new ways AI is changing how designers work. I'm currently working directly in the MasterClass codebase, getting more fluent in VS Code, and picking up fundamental coding skills.
The next big project is a full redesign of the MasterClass quiz. I will partner with engineering to ship my code as a live experiment 🚀
